Morphing.biz Ltd, was set up in 2005 as an umbrella structure to deliver a variety of services related to helping people manage transition, whether actively sought or imposed from outside. Organisations who have undergone major change have noted that it often seemed easy to find companies who could swing through and restructure, cutting a swathe of destruction in their wake as staff members reeled from the changes and redundancies. What appeared to be in short supply were companies who could help organisations bring their people through the change with them, getting them on board both emotionally and work-wise.

The unique combination of skill sets of director Meg Carbonatto and associates lent itself to this task. The diverse experience of Morphing professionals--in fields from organisational development through training to coaching and counselling--means that we can work our way through a change process for either an organisation or an individual, diagnosing the current problem, celebrating what’s working, and supporting the company (or individual) through a time of change. Where there are staff changes, we have the skills to help plan and implement the stress management, change adaptation, counselling, and re-careering sessions needed. When the called-for change is at a level of written communication, Morphing is available to help edit, or even write, documents.

At Morphing.biz we work from an Appreciative Enquiry stance, and realise that the most precious resource is human capital. We help companies transition in ways that value that.

 

Meg Carbonatto - Director

Meg has a number of passions in life.  One of them is sharing ideas with receptive people so that they have more choices for how they do/be/have life—but not just any life.   She helps both individuals and organisations unfold their potentials through strategic attention to their most valuable resource:  their human capital.

In her role as organisational consultant, that has meant guiding medium and large corporations, government departments, and tertiary institutions to manage their response to change by humane planning for the emotional, material, and skills-enhancement needs of their force. 

As a therapist, Meg has worked to help clients develop adaptive skills for a wide range of presenting issues, including relational angst, dealing with alcoholic parents, overcoming phobias, stress and anger management, finding right work, couples therapy, and issues of spiritual emergence.  Link to her page in the GM Media Resource and Referral Directory
 
As a writer, Meg has exposed systemic difficulties in achieving change through ethnographic studies into aspects of the health sector.

While work with clients has given her experience with the complex dynamics of change, the academic degrees (B.S., M.A., and Ph.D., from overseas) and counselling and psychotherapy diplomas (gained in Auckland) have provided the theoretical foundations for the work.

Andrea Durrant

Andrea has worked in senior management and consulting for over 15 years with internationally respected companies such as SMI, Telecom, and Nokia, where as the New Zealand manager she was instrumental in growing the company from $12 million to over $100 million annually.  Her management background gives a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to her work as a professional change consultant, enabling transformational change and growth to be achieved within challenging business environments. 

In her consulting work Andrea specialises in organisational analysis and development, change readiness, leadership support, strategic planning, solutions development and project management.  Her insight and organisational knowledge enables clients to arrive at a new, clearer, understanding of their businesses, the opportunities and obstacles facing them, and the potential solutions to these.

Andrea is highly knowledgeable about the psychology of success, and is passionate about facilitating business growth and performance improvement in conjunction with organisational and people development.
